These include carbon energies such as oil & gas, and renewable energies such as wind, hydro, hydroelectric, solar and hydrogen storage.</p>\n<p>RACE develops <strong>synergies</strong> by offering innovative, competitive, packaged solutions.</p>\n<p>The energy transition encourages metamorphosis and digitization. The strength and complementarity of the network enhances the competitiveness of companies and enables the integration of complete, complex projects. Thanks to joint development, RACE works on international markets and takes part in numerous trade fairs, including <a href=\"https://www.adipec.com/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ADIPEC</a> and <a href=\"http://www.otcnet.org/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">OTC</a>.</p>\n<p>The cluster's motto: \"<strong>Alone we go faster, together we go further.</strong>\"</p>\n<p>For more information on the cluster: <a href=\"http://www.race-value.com/.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Race value</a></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><a href=\"https://soclema.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/RACE_Programme_2019.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3927 \" src=\"https://soclema.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/RACE_Programme_2019-400x156.jpg\" alt=\"RACE_Program_2019\" width=\"351\" height=\"137\" srcset=\"https://soclema.com/les-actualites/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/RACE_Programme_2019-400x156.jpg 400w, https://soclema.com/les-actualites/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/RACE_Programme_2019.jpg 709w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 351px) 100vw, 351px\"></a></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>The RACE cluster, created in 2015, is the fruit of a <strong>Lyon CCI</strong> watch on growth markets for SMEs in the Lyon region.<br/>\nThis watch revealed the potential of the Offshore energy industrial sector (nearly 200 companies in Rhône-Alpes covering the entire value chain and widely positioned internationally) to create a collective dynamic around a dedicated cluster.<br/>\nTo help industrial companies in the Lyon area grow, the Lyon CCI is committed to creating new clusters in growth markets for Lyon-area SMEs, most of which are subcontractors.<br/>\nThe Lyon CCI lists nearly 200 companies in the Rhône-Alpes region, covering the entire Offshore value chain in a variety of sectors: metallurgy, mechanics, chemicals, electronics, digital engineering, etc.<br/>\n <strong>Offshore & Onshore</strong> activities, such as tidal and naval wind energy, oil & gas, and the search for rare materials, require advanced technologies and high-level expertise in highly constrained environments.<br/>\nThese companies, of all sizes - VSEs, SMEs and ETIs - have a strong international presence, and many are leaders in their field.<br/>\nThe CCI has observed that this wealth of regional industry and complex know-how is not very visible today. Companies don't know each other, whereas powerful synergies need to be created. The Offshore & Onshore cluster project has also been supported from the outset by key players in the sector such as <strong>TOTAL and ENGIE</strong>, who are particularly interested in the high-tech expertise of the region's companies.</p>\n<p><u>The cluster's stated objectives:</u></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create a common identity for this pool of expertise that will be perceptible in France and abroad by major contractors, by promoting the skills and expertise of cluster members,</li>\n<li>Detect and capture business opportunities, build packaged offers,</li>\n<li>Facilitate the referencing of cluster members with major contractors,</li>\n<li>Develop pools of leading companies in specific areas of expertise,</li>\n<li>Coordinated international actions: market conquest, pooling of agents, distributors, subsidiaries, premises, etc,</li>\n<li>Encourage collaborative innovation between cluster members, drawing on regional and national research and development organizations with expertise in offshore energy,</li>\n<li>Encourage responsible environmental practices.</li>\n</ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SOCLEMA has joined the RACE cluster.
