Here's some information and advice to help you install a GENIE 755 sampling rod:

Information required to define the junction :

\n

1. Conveyor pipe size (Nominal diameter)
\n2. Conveyor pipe thickness (Schedule)
\n3. Size, pressure class, face and material of sampling counter-flange
\n4. Internal diameter of spigot sleeve
\n5. Pipe bore diameter
\n6. Diameter of block valve passage
\n7. Dimension X: Distance between the flange face of the tapping and the upper external generatrix of the pipe.
\n8. Pressure, temperature and type of fluid
\n9. Desired pressure to analyzer
\n10. Connection to sampling manifold outlet

Insertion and removal :

\n

Insertion:
\n- Screw the cane (retracted position) onto the counter-flange provided.
\n- Fully open the shut-off valve on connection 5.
\n- Check flange/cane connection for leaks, adjust if necessary.
\n- Insert rod by turning clockwise to desired depth (partial insertion possible).

\n- Check stuffing box A for tightness and tighten slightly if necessary.
\n- Tighten counter-nuts B to hold in place.
\n- Connect sample conveying tube.
\n- Open block valve on sample outlet manifold 2.
\n- Set manifold head pressure regulator to desired pressure.

Removal:
\n- Close manifold head pressure regulator.
\n- Close sample outlet manifold 2 shut-off valve.
\n- Disconnect sample conveying tube.
\n- Loosen locknuts B.
\n- Unscrew rod counter-clockwise until fully retracted to mechanical stop (retracted position).

\n- Close shut-off valve 5.
\n- Bleed the cane through the cane head pressure regulator and the shut-off valve on the outlet manifold of the
\noutlet manifold 2.

Note: to maintain the membrane, it is necessary to unscrew the cane from the counter-flange.
