It <strong>preconditions</strong> gas samples and <strong>protects</strong> on-line gas <strong data-wg-splitted>analyzers</strong> by preventing the transfer of liquids and solid particles.</p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6063 alignleft\" src=\"https://soclema.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/soclema_merlin_séparateur-cyclonique-pour-système-analyse-gaz-348x400.png\" alt=\"soclema_merlin_séparateur cyclonique pour système analyse gaz\" width=\"348\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https://soclema.com/les-actualites/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/soclema_merlin_séparateur-cyclonique-pour-système-analyse-gaz-348x400.png 348w, https://soclema.com/les-actualites/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/soclema_merlin_séparateur-cyclonique-pour-système-analyse-gaz.png 603w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 348px) 100vw, 348px\"></p>\n<p>The design of this separator ensures optimum separation even at low flow rates (1 liter/min), and the geometry and surface quality of the separator head prevent the formation of fine liquid droplets that could find their way back to the analyzer.</p>\n<p>Without the use of a filter cartridge (sintered stainless steel or textile), the MERLIN gas separator effectively separates <strong>condensate films</strong> (oil vapors) and <strong>particles</strong> (up to 10 microns) from the gas stream by centrifugal force. The difference in density between a gas and solid or liquid particles enables centrifugal separation. The components are carried along the wall and exit the separator via the bypass. The treated gas sample exits at the top of the separator to the analyzer.</p>\n<p>Unlike traditional filtration systems, which require frequent replacement of filter elements, MERLIN considerably reduces <strong>maintenance costs</strong>.
