SOCLEMA offers 2 models of sampling probes for your bio-methane sampling systems. They are particularly well-suited to small-diameter pipelines, and therefore to continuous sampling of bio-methane. All are equipped with a membrane (filter) to separate liquids from gas. They consist of a housing and a probe. The housing must be inserted into a depressurized line. Once the probe has been inserted, it can be raised without depressurizing the line, to change the membrane for example.

The GENIE GPSD sampling probe has an insertion length of 50mm (2″) and is therefore recommended for very small pipes. The standard model is without pressure regulation. The GPSD-R model can be ordered with a pressure regulator mounted at the probe outlet.

GENIE GPR is a sampling probewith 3 possible insertion lengths: 101.6 mm (4″); 177.8 mm (7″); 228.6 mm (9″). It has an integrated expansion device at the foot of the probe which allows the gas to expand in the pipe, thus avoiding the creation of condensation and therefore liquids.
