Following feedback from the field, the design of the GENIE 701 portable sampling probe has been revised.

Being moved from one sampling point to another during use, the overall design of the GENIE 701 probe needs to be robust .To achieve this, the handle has been moved closer to the body and internal modifications have been made to remove the slide lock.An internal tube, in the center of the probe, has also been added to isolate the sample from the walls of the housing exposed to ambient temperature. This prevents the formation of condensation and therefore liquids in the sample.

All these improvements reduce internal volume and make it easier to use.

This sampling probe, which can be inserted (to the desired depth) and retracted under pressure , is a great success in the field!

With this GENIE® 701 rod, taking a spot gas sample from a pressurized line is simple, fast and risk-free. It can be used on conventional transmission networks, renewable gas networks and spot storage networks, or as a fixed point for on-line analysis.

\n

The probe can be inserted very easily via a 1/2″ full bore valve simply by turning the crank handle. No special tools are required. The stainless steel rod is relatively light and easy to handle, making it ideal for spot sampling.

It is ideal for use with our conditioning case, which expands the gas and separates any liquids present.
