TPE tubing is a pre-insulated tube bundle with self-regulating electrical tracing designed to provide protection against freezing, limit temperature variations or control viscosity. It's perfect for maintaining very long sections of impulse lines or piping at constant temperatures from end to end.

The TPL tube is a bundle of pre-insulated tubes with moderate tracing, the tracer tube being covered with insulation to reduce heat transfer. It is suitable for small-diameter process lines, such as those used for instrumentation, sampling or additive addition. It offers a more uniform tube temperature over longer lengths than strong steam tracers.

The TPH tube is a bundle of pre-insulated tubes with strong steam tracing, the process tubes being in contact with the tracer which thus maintains them at high temperatures. TPH is recommended for sample transfer lines, instrument pulse lines, additive additions and small-diameter process lines where higher temperature maintenance is required.

J-Line tubing is used in applications requiring extra protection, but is neither insulated nor heated. It's ideal for pneumatic and hydraulic applications; the SV47 coating offers added protection against wear due to vibration.

S-LINE pre-insulated pipe is recommended for steam, condensate, liquid and gas lines from 0 to 25mm, where personnel protection and heat loss are important parameters. S-LINE is a less expensive alternative to on-site insulation and sealing of small-diameter lines.

\n\n\n\nThe starting point for the tubes offered by SOCLEMA is an ASTM-standard tube whose characteristics have been enhanced to increase resistance to corrosion, desiccation or adsorption and desorption. Using a tube that is not suitable for process conditions can lead to analysis system failure due to adsorption, contaminants, stress corrosion cracking or gas permeation during sample transfer. Reduced sample flow, excessively long response times or tube twisting are also problems that may be encountered, and which may be related to the choice of tube.
