Tracing: electrical or steam</h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Traced tubes help maintain temperature and protect against freezing, thus avoiding condensation, loss of fluidity or any undesirable phase change.</p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two types of tracing are recommended:</p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Self-regulating electrical tracing: this system is often advantageous because it eliminates the need for an external temperature controller - simpler, more efficient and safer.</li><li>Steam tracing: in certain contexts, steam can be used as a source of heat.<br></li></ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Generally speaking, the choice of <strong>steam</strong> or <strong>electric</strong> <strong data-wg-splitted>tracing</strong> is dictated by unit preference.
