HYDROGEN MEASURING BENCH
The hydrogen measuring bench is a mobile,transportable system that enables on-line, on-site measurements of the quality of hydrogen from various pilot-scale production processes or industrial-scale units (measurement of impurities).
The target impurities and measurement limits are taken from the EN 17124 standard describing the quality of hydrogen in fuel gas.
The system integrates 3 parts:
- The first part is dedicated to hydrogen sampling,
- A second part for analyzer integration,
- A third section for transporting and combining utility gas bottles (carrier and calibration gases) on the bench.
The system thus has a triple function:
- It conditions the hydrogen for measurement,
- It manages utilities: carrier gas and calibration gas,
- It manages and adapts to different measuring devices: pressure, vacuum, volume, flow.
This "triple function" system has the advantage of adapting to the various stages of the production process.
SOCLEMA followed a complex set of specifications with strict and precise requirements to design, propose and build this hydrogen measuring bench in its workshops.
